In its fourth week, Rajinikanth’s movie ‘Jailer’ is doing really well in cinemas all across India.Even though a high-definition (HD) version is available online, people are still rushing to theaters to catch Thalaivar on the big screen.
Kalanithi Maran, the CEO of Sun Pictures, made a special gesture on September 4 by presenting a check to the composer of ‘Jailer,’ Anirudh Ravichander, in recognition of his exceptional work.But that wasn’t all – as a token of appreciation, he surprised Anirudh with a brand-new Porsche car.
‘Jailer,’ starring Rajinikanth, hit theaters in various languages on August 10th.Fans were particularly impressed with Anirudh Ravichander’s fantastic background music and melodies.
Kalanithi Maran visited Anirudh’s workplace on September 4th and handed him a check.Later, he offered Anirudh a choice between a BMW and a Porsche.
After checking out both cars, Anirudh opted for the Porsche, and it became his new ride.
Prior to this, Kalanithi Maran had also made generous gestures to others involved in the film.
He had promised Rajinikanth a share of the profits and gifted him a BMW car.The director, Nelson Dilipkumar, was not left out; he received a check and a Porsche car as well.
As for the movie itself, ‘Jailer,’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, has become one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of 2023.It’s approaching a staggering Rs 600 crore in worldwide earnings and is still performing strongly at the box office.Rajinikanth stars as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in this action-comedy.
The film also features cameo appearances by other notable actors like Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff.
