The Telangana High Court on Wednesday heard the case filed by current TPCC president Revanth Reddy in 2017 over the Tollywood drugs case.Rachna Reddy, counsel for the petitioner, contended that the state government was not cooperating with the ED in the drugs case and that key persons were involved in it.He also told the court that the government investigation into the case was not proper.
The government’s special GP claimed that the information they had was given to the courts.
In this context, the High Court directed the state government to provide full details along with the FIRs and records of the investigating officers in the drugs case.The inquiry directed the officers to give details within 15 days if the entire application is made.
Also, in the case of drugs it is suggested to give the call data records to the ED within a month.
The High Court has warned that the case need not be referred to the CBI and other investigating agencies.
