The restoration of the temple was done with the aim of providing various facilities to the pilgrims.From QR code tickets to free travel services to the public, several queue lines have been created at the new temple.
Anand Sai, the chief architect of the temple, visited many temples in South India and was inspired by them for Yadagirigutta.None touched the old temple.
Swayambhu (original temple grounds), sanctum sanctorum (main temple) remained intact,” he said.The old temple was never touched, A new temple was built around it.Anand explained that he was inspired by Dravidian architecture and said that many people feel like the old Madurai temple.“We were inspired by the idea of seven towers from the Srirangam temple in Tiruchirappalli,” he said.
Kishan Rao said about 300 families are currently residing in Yadadri.“Real estate is also developing around the temple.Many presidential suites and guest houses have also been built on the hills adjacent to the temple,” he added.
