Telangana : No 24×7 power supply, Rythu Bandhu if Congress wins says KCR

Telangana Chief Minister and leader of the BRS party, K Chandrashekar Rao, delivered a message to voters on Friday, 27 October, cautioning them about the potential discontinuation of essential welfare programs, such as Rythu Bandhu and free power supply to the agricultural sector, should the Congress come into power in the state.

During his addresses at Palair and Wardhannapet election rallies, the chief minister expressed his concerns over the Congress alleged attempts to gain power through questionable means, potentially deceiving the public.

Regarding the Rythu Bandhu initiative, Rao emphasized its significance in supporting farmers and mentioned that it had garnered praise from eminent figures like Dr.MS Swaminathan and even received commendation from the United Nations for being farmer-friendly.Rao also pointed out statements from Congress leaders Uttam Kumar Reddy and TPCC president Revanth Reddy, who criticized Rythu Bandhu and suggested reduced power supply for farmers, respectively.

The Chief Minister assured that, if the BRS were re-elected, all 93 lakh BPL families in Telangana would receive benefits like quality rice and comprehensive health insurance, as outlined in the partys manifesto.Expressing his disappointment with former minister Thummala Nageswara Rao, who switched allegiance from BRS to Congress, Rao clarified the history of their political relationship.
