Corona on one hand and Omicron on the other are booming in Telangana.With this, corona positive cases are increasing in Telangana.

The state government is on high alert as the corona virus is spreading in the state.Corona cases are on the rise in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.Authorities set up checkposts at the border.A medical check post has been set up on the Pranahita river bridge and tests are being carried out.People from Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh coming to Telangana are undergoing these medical tests and their details are being recorded.They are allowed into Telangana only if they get a negative in the medical examination.

1825 people diagnosed with Covid in the state yesterday.One died with a corona.In the past 24 hours, 351 people have recovered from Covid.70,697 tests were done in the state yesterday.Currently there are 14,995 active cases in the state.A record 1042 cases were reported under the GHMC.There were 201 cases reported in Malkajgiri and 147 cases in Rangareddy.

The Telangana government has taken a key decision in the wake of rising Corona and Omicron cases and extended the covid regulations until January 20th.

Corona cases have been on the rise in Telangana for the past few days.Rallies and public meetings should not be held in the state.

In public places, shopping malls, public transport, business establishments everyone must wear a mask mandatorily else a fine of Rs 1000 shall be imposed.The government also banned religious, cultural and political activities.

Telangana Health Minister Harish Rao said there was no need for any doubts about the corona vaccine.He started the distribution of booster dose at Charminar Unani Hospital.

He said that Telangana is in the forefront in the distribution of vaccine.Harishrao assured that they have discussed the problems in Unani Hospital and will resolve them soon.

The issue of funding will be brought to the attention of the CM.
