TDP MPs write to PM Modi over health condition of Naidu

TDP Lok Sabha leader, K Rammohan Naidu, and Rajya Sabha leader, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, have penned a heartfelt letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking his immediate attention to the health and well-being of former Chief Minister and TDP national president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

In their letter, both MPs shed light on the concerning deterioration of Chandrababu Naidu’s health, as he has been held in judicial custody at Rajahmundry Central Jail for over a month.

They emphasized the critical need for prompt medical intervention to address the TDP chief’s urgent health requirements.

Expressing deep worry about the conditions at Rajahmundry prison, which pose significant health risks to Naidu, the MPs voiced their distress over what they view as a form of political vendetta orchestrated by the YSRCP.

The MPs also raised an alarm regarding reports of delayed medical attention, citing Naidu’s significant weight loss of 5 kilograms due to dehydration—a condition that could potentially impact his kidneys.They further questioned the State government’s intentions behind attempts to administer steroids to Naidu.

Urging the Prime Minister to ensure that Chandrababu Naidu receives the finest medical care from the country’s top doctors, the MPs stressed the imperative of safeguarding Naidu’s dignity and rights.They underscored that regardless of political affiliations, it is crucial to uphold principles of justice and democracy in the pursuit of Naidu’s well-being.
