But before that, Suriya has some big projects lined up for 2024.He has joined hands with director Siruthai Siva, who is known for his commercial entertainers, for a film titled Kanguva.
The film is said to be a mega budget action thriller with a star-studded cast.Suriya is also collaborating with director Sudha Kongara for the second time after their successful film Soorarai Pottru, which was released on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
The film, which is based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, received rave reviews from the critics and the viewers.
The new film with Sudha Kongara is tentatively titled Purananooru, which is the name of a classical Tamil poetry collection.
The film was officially announced on Thursday by Suriya on his social media accounts.He also revealed that the film will feature Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan in a key role.
This is the first time that Suriya and Dulquer are sharing screen space.The film also has Nazriya Fahadh and Vijay Varma in pivotal roles.
The music for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, who is celebrating his 100th film as a composer.
Suriya is not only acting in these films, but also producing them under his banner 2D Entertainment, along with his wife Jyotika.With these exciting projects in his kitty, Suriya is all set to rule the box office in 2024.
