Aamir Khan’s film “3 Idiots” continues to be loved by many, and now there is news of a possible sequel.Sharman Joshi, who played the character Raju in the film, recently revealed in an interview that director Rajkumar Hirani is interested in making a sequel.
Joshi expressed his excitement about the potential sequel, saying that it would be a lot of fun.He mentioned that Hirani is aware of the love the first film received and doesn’t want to disappoint the audience.Joshi also shared that Hirani has discussed a few ideas for the sequel with him, but so far, those ideas haven’t worked out.
The actor emphasized that Hirani is keen on making the sequel and that both the cast and audience would enjoy it.He mentioned that whenever the sequel happens, it will be a great experience to work on it.
“3 Idiots” was released in December 2009 and directed by Rajkumar Hirani.The film starred Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, R Madhavan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Boman Irani, and Mona Singh in key roles.It was widely loved by the audience and earned around Rs 400 crore worldwide.
Earlier this year, rumors of a “3 Idiots” sequel surfaced when Aamir Khan reunited with Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan for an advertisement.Kareena Kapoor Khan also hinted at something exciting, suggesting it could be a sequel in a video related to the commercial.
Currently, Rajkumar Hirani is working on his much-awaited film, “Dunki,” with Shah Rukh Khan.The movie also features Taapsee Pannu in a significant role and is expected to release in December this year.
