Popular Tollywood actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has recently become the owner of the Hyderabad Blackbirds (HBB) motorsport racing team.This team is well-known in the Indian Racing League and is getting ready for the first season of the Formula 4 Indian Championship, which is organized by Racing Promotions Private Limited (RPPL).
Naga Chaitanya has had a lifelong passion for motorsport, including Formula 1, supercars, and motorcycles.His love for the sport and the chance to contribute to Indian motorsport’s growth motivated him to invest in the racing team.
In his own words, Naga Chaitanya expressed his excitement about being part of the Hyderabad Blackbirds team and his belief in the Indian Racing League’s potential.He also mentioned his anticipation for the upcoming street races and the growing interest in motorsport among people of all ages.
In their debut season in the Indian Racing League, Hyderabad Blackbirds achieved notable success.Two of their drivers, Akhil Rabindra and Neel Jani, finished first and second in the Drivers’ Championship.
As a team, HBB secured the second position in the Teams’ Championship.
Looking ahead, Hyderabad Blackbirds is preparing to compete in the FIA-certified Formula 4 Indian Championship, a prestigious event expected to attract young and aspiring racers from around the world.
