Musk reacts to Ford CEO’s pick-up truck jab

San FranCisco, Aug 13 : After Ford CEO Jim Farley took a playful joke at Elon Musk, the tech billionaire has shared a humorous reaction to the jolly Pickup Truck slam he received from the CEO.
Farley recently, in a recent interview, made the comparison between Tesla’s long-delayed CyberTruck, and Ford’s plug-in Pickup — the F-150 Lightning, while announcing significant investments in solar power.

In response to an account on microblogging platform Twitter regarding the issue, Musk wrote: “Thanks however, I already have one.”

This week, after praising the company’s decision to use more sustainable sources of energy, Farley made a quick remark at his main competitor in the electric vehicle industry who he has been praised for helping to propel the market to move towards electric vehicles.

“We are actually on the mission here at Ford to lead an electronic and digital revolution that benefits all, not just a just a few,” .,” he was quoted saying.

“Take this, Elon Musk,” he added.

First revealed in 2019 in The Tesla CyberTruck was initially supposed to begin production in 2021.

However, Musk has announced that it will start off in the mid-2023 timeframe.

The F-150 Lightning is currently the most popular electric Truck in the marketplace, beating out the other two competitors that are available, the Rivian R1T and the GMC Hummer EV.
