Telugu film industry lost a prominent figure as choreographer Rakesh Master passed away on June 18.His health deteriorated after attending an outdoor shoot in Visakhapatnam, and despite being admitted to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad, he couldn’t recover, leaving the Tollywood industry in grief.

To honor Rakesh Master’s legacy, his close associate Aleti Atam decided to erect an 11-feet tall statue in Hyderabad.This tribute will symbolize his deep devotion to Vaishnavism, a faith he cherished.

Atam generously undertakes the entire cost of the statue, and the unveiling ceremony will witness the presence of various artists and choreographers who admired him.

Throughout his illustrious career, Rakesh Master gained fame through his exceptional performances on reality shows like Aata and Dhee.He made significant contributions to over 1,500 movies, showcasing his talent not only in films but also on TV shows like Jabardasth and others.Additionally, he served as a mentor to renowned choreographer Master Shekhar, whose presence, along with Master Jani, was noted during Rakesh Master’s burial.

Collaborating with top actors such as Venkatesh, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna, and Ram Pothineni, Rakesh Master choreographed numerous popular songs, including “Chandamama Kanna Challanivade” from Yuvaraju, “Ecstacy Privacy” from Seetharama Raju, and “Vendi Theraku Maa Vandanalu” from the film Manasichanu, among others.

His untimely demise left a significant impact on the industry, with prominent actors and choreographers expressing heartfelt condolences.However, Rakesh Master’s teachings and dance legacy will live on through his devoted followers and disciples, who will continue to carry forward his passion for dance in the years to come.The film industry mourns the loss of a remarkable dancer and choreographer, but his contributions and influence will remain etched in the hearts of those he touched.
