Kalyan Ram has now signed for a film with debut director Venu Mallidi that is titled ‘Tughlaq’.
The film is an interesting satire that is set in the backdrop of the 13th century as well as the present and hence the hero will be seen in dual roles.The film has enough elements of fantasy and has a huge scope for VFX and that is the reason why the team is taking time to launch the shoot.
Moreover, the new update is that Catherine Teresa is on board with the team to play the female lead role in the film.She will be playing the role of a warrior queen in the film.
The producer for the film is the hero himself and will be bankrolling it under NTR Arts and it is heard that the budget of the film will be around 20 Crores.More team members are yet to join and details will be given out soon.Kalyan Ram was last seen in ‘Entha Manchivaadavuraa’, while Catherine worked alongside Vijay Deverakonda in ‘World Famous Lover’.Let’s see if this film achieves a much-needed hit for both the lead actor and actress.
