Corona epidemic is spreading in Telangana.Again, positive cases are on the rise.
Covid on the one hand and Omicron the other.The number of cases has increased compared to yesterday (1,963).
During the last 24 hours in Telangana, 55,883 people were tested for corona and 2,047 were tested positive.The highest number of 1,174 new cases was reported under the GHMC.178 cases were reported in Malkajgiri district and 140 in Rangareddy district.At the same time 2013 people recovered from the corona.Another three died with Covid.The state has so far registered 7,09,209 positive cases while 6,83,104 have recovered.There are 22048 active cases in the state.The death toll from the corona has risen to 4,057.
The government was alerted in the wake of the corona and is preparing to impose tough regulations again.The government has taken a key decision to extend the holidays to educational institutions till the 30th of this month.
On the other hand, it is ready to impose strict regulations across the state.On Monday (January 17) at 2 pm, the Chief Minister will hold a keynote meeting with officials at the KCR Pragati Bhavan.
Regulations are likely to be imposed in view of the growing number of Covid cases in the state.
CM KCR will make a statement discussing the steps to be taken in the wake of the rising number of corona cases.
Will the state impose a lock down? Or enforce night curfew?
