The Centre has taken another step towards corona vaccination.Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandavia said the Covid vaccination for those aged 12-14 years would start from March 16.The precautionary dose will be given to all those above 60 years of age.With this, India wants to accelerate its fight against the corona.It has already delivered 179,91,57,486 vaccine doses nationwide to those eligible.
Launched a vaccination program for 15-18 year olds from January 3 this year.
The vaccination program in the country started on January 16, 2020.Vaccination of frontline workers began on January 16.Vaccinations for the sick and the elderly has begun on March 1, 2020.Vaccination has been started in the country from April 1, 2020, for those above 45 years of age.
Vaccines have been given to all those over 18 years of age from May 1, 2020.Vaccination will be given to those between 12 – 14 years of age will be starting from 16th of this month.
Although corona cases are already being reported in the country, due to vaccination the number of deaths has come down drastically.Corona cases are likely to decrease further in the country in the coming days.
