Bengaluru 7th September : The Karnataka government on Wednesday assured IT companies that there is a permanent solution to the problems that have been causing in the Mahadevpura zone which is home to major technology companies in Bengaluru is expected to be found by the next rainy season.
IT and BT Minister Dr.C.N.Ashwath Narayan, made the announcement during a discussion with the CEOs of the IT firms based in the Mahadevapura zone in Vidhan Soudha in this.

After listening to grievances of the IT companies, he sought their cooperation to keep the status of “Bangalore Brand”.

He also announced that virtual meetings will be held every month starting from this point to resolve their complaints.

In response to the IT Minister’s call, IT leaders stated their main concern is to make known to the attention of the government the difficulties they are facing and the loss caused by it.They also stated they were satisfied with how the government has responded to their complaints.

Narayan said that the government will look into the implementation of the ‘Elcita” model of the system being implemented in the place in the Electronic City in the Mahadevapura zone, too.In addition the K10 system will be in place to ensure the flowing of rainwater, he said.

He said that the area will provide Cauvery drinking water supply until the five stages of the work.

State IT Vision Group Chairperson Kris Gopalakrishnan said that the state government was with the IT industry in solving any issue they may face.

BBMP Special Commissioner Tushar Girinath made a presentation on the initiatives that were taken by the government.

The representatives of Goldman Sachs, Infosys, Wells Fargo, Wipro, Emphasis, Intel VMware, TCS, Accenture, Sonata Software, Philips, and Solace were among those who attended the conference.

Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma as well as IT/BT Department Director Meena Nagaraj were also present.
