The Andhra Pradesh state Assembly Privilege Committee recently issued notices to TDP Legislative Party Deputy Leader Kinjarapu Achennaidu.It ordered Atchannaidu to attend in person for the next meeting.
Speaking on this occasion, Kakano Govardhan Reddy said that the Privilege Committee is acting transparently, and it was their duty to protect the rights of legislators.He was ordered to appear in person.
The Privilege Committee said that it ordered Atchannaidu to appear for an explanation for the second time as the explanation during the first hearing was not satisfactory.The Privilege Committee said that Atchannaidu failed to appear before them for the second time.
Against this backdrop, they have sent notices to Atchannaidu.
Also, the AP Assembly Privilege Committee held a meeting in the Assembly Committee Hall and discussed nine issues.
In the meeting, the members of the Privilege Committee discussed the criticisms made by TDP MLA Atchannaidu on the Speaker.
Kakani Govardhan Reddy said the next Privilege Committee meeting will be held on August 10, 2021.
