Passengers in a Mumbai Local train( Thane-CST local) were shocked to see a naked woman in the local train.They alarmed when they found a semi-nude woman, who appeared mentally disturbed, in the ladies compartment at 8.28am and pulled the alarm chain.
The woman got into the CST- bound local train at Thane railway station and started shouting.
She appeared in inebriated condition many clicked pictures of the woman before cops came to rescue her.Some of the commuters pulled the alarm chain as the train was pulling into Mulund station.
The middle-aged woman who spoke good english have created a ruckus in the train, which led to delay of trains for over 15 minutes.Police said it is not yet known if she had removed her clothes herself or someone else was responsible for it.Cops took her into custody and said that they were looking into the CCTV footages to find out what exactly had happened,
Police have filed case against her under Section 43 of the Indian Penal Code and are searching for her family members.A senior Central Railway (CR) official expressed surprise that no railway cop was aware of the woman’s presence in the compartment.
