Balakrishna’s upcoming movie Lion is all set for the release soon.The film is piquing interest of movie lovers much before its release date.
This is the next film of Balayya after Legend ran away to super duper hit at the Tollywood box office.
‘Legend’ crossed the Rs 40 crore mark and due to this makers of ‘Lion’ has spent lavishly on the movie.
Lion was supposed to wind up at a budget of 20-22 Cr.But the budget got extended up to 35 Cr, as per the reports.This huge difference between the actual figure and the estimated figure has brought the makers into muddle.
To en-cash the positive vibes around the film SLV Cinema reportedly quoted huge numbers, for which buyers are not ready.
Now as per sources makers have finally succeeded in selling the overall area rights for 35 crs.
So Lion will have to rake in gross revenues of more than ‘Legend’ to turn out to be a profitable venture for buyers.Movies like Temper and S/O Satyamurthy winded up at 45 crores mark after getting appreciation from multiplex audiences.So it’s a big target for Balayya.
Lion is directed by a new bee, Satyadev and Trisha is pairing up with Balakrishna for the first time.
