Telangana’s Chief Minister, KCR, responded firmly to TPCC chief Revanth Reddy and the Congress’s complaint to the Election Commission of India regarding the Rythu Bandhu scheme. He reminded everyone of his long-standing commitment to achieving Telangana statehood and his subsequent efforts to foster its prosperity over the past fourteen years.
KCR emphasized that the nation has witnessed his unwavering dedication and addressed those challenging him to contest specific places. He also pointed out the challenges faced by farmers in Congress-ruled Karnataka, where even basic electricity supply is lacking.
He highlighted Telangana’s significant contributions to the country over the past decade, particularly through successful initiatives like Rythu Bandhu, which provides crucial financial support to farmers.KCR raised a pertinent question about the tangible efforts of other political parties towards farmer welfare, as opposed to mere lip service.
The Chief Minister took pride in Telangana being the sole state in the country to offer round-the-clock electricity, drawing a sharp contrast with the conditions in the Prime Minister’s state. He made it clear that his actions are driven by genuine concern for the people, rather than mere electoral gains, and pledged to refrain from making empty promises for votes.
KCR also celebrated the remarkable surge in paddy production in Telangana and critiqued Congress leaders for indulging in petty politics instead of prioritizing the state’s well-being.He expressed reservations about the access to fresh water in BJP-ruled states and assured that the government is committed to safeguarding the land accounts of farmers, following the removal of the dharani system.
