On August 19, Samantha and her mother arrived in New York.The very next day, they attended the 41st India Day parade, a traditional celebration of Indian Independence Day that takes place every August 20.Last year, actor Allu Arjun was the Grand Marshal of the parade.
Joining Samantha at the parade were actress Jacqueline Fernandez and Indian spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Samantha addressed the audience, expressing her gratitude for the support she’s received and how the experience deepened her appreciation for her culture and heritage.
