Shahid Kapoor and Anees Bazmee are teaming up for an exciting new project.According to reports, they will be working on an action comedy titled “Main Aaoonga UP, Bihar Lootne.” The film has been making steady progress since its announcement in May.
The latest update reveals that Rashmika Mandanna has been selected as the leading lady for the film.The production team has conducted a location hunt and finalized a few places for shooting.The project is being produced by Dil Raju, known for his work on the film “Varisu.”
The shooting for the movie is scheduled to begin in the first week of August at a studio in Mumbai.Shahid Kapoor, who will be playing a double role in the film, will be joined by Rashmika Mandanna for the initial indoor scenes.
The set will recreate the interiors of a grand Rajasthani mansion, showcasing the rural flavor of the film.
After the three-week schedule in Mumbai, the team will take a 15-day break before heading to Rajasthan for an extensive shoot.
Anees Bazmee, the director, intends to complete a significant portion of the film during this start-to-finish schedule in Rajasthan, which is planned to take place from mid-September to October.
Following the Rajasthan shoot, the production will return to Mumbai for a crucial schedule involving action sequences.
If everything goes as planned, the entire project is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the year.
Anees Bazmee and his technical team, including director of photography Manu Anand and production designer Rajat Poddarr, have conducted extensive location scouting in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan to finalize the perfect settings for the film.
The decision to shoot in Rajasthan was made after careful consideration.
