Days after the inauguration of new Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, the first State cabinet meeting will be held at the complex on Thursday.Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will chair the meeting which will likely begin at 3 pm today, May 18.
The officials along with ministers will participate in this meeting.On this occasion, there will be a discussion on the preparations for the celebrations of state formation day along with decisions on several key issues.
The state government has made elaborate plans to mark the tenth formation day of Telangana State.The BRS party will leave no stone unturned to showcase the development in the State during its rule and how it is fulfilling the aspirations of its people.
It is known that it has been decided to organise Telangana formation day for 21 days from June 2.CM KCR has already made it clear that the development of the state should be explained to the people.
The newly built secretariat was thrown open by the chief minister on April 30. A brainchild of Chief Minister KCR, the Secretariat complex has come up near the banks of Hussain Sagar lake in the heart of the city at the same piece of land where old buildings of Telangana Secretariat and earlier undivided Andhra Pradesh stood.
