Chandrababu made this promise while taking out a padayatra titled “Rythu Poru Bata” from Iragavaram to Tanuku in West Godavari district on Friday.

Addressing a gathering at the Y.Junction in Tanuku, he maintained that his party will ensure a balance between welfare and development for the overall benefit of people in the state.

Chandrababu pointed out that had TDP been re-elected in 2019, Polavaram Project would have been completed by now.“Not just that, all rivers like Vamsadhara, Penna, Krishna and Godavari would have been linked to make maximum use of river waters,” he said.

The former CM said while the YSRC government is giving 2 lakh crore in the form of welfare schemes, ruling party leaders, including Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy, are pocketing 5 lakh crore.

Speaking on the occasion, TDP state president K.Achannaidu declared that Chandrababu Naidu will become the chief minister after the 2024 general elections.“People should strive hard for 10 months to achieve this goal,” he remarked.
