Currently Bollywood stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur are promoting their upcoming Hindi film Gumraah.The movie is a thriller in which Aditya plays a double role.
Aditya Roy Kapur has been making headlines lately due to his alleged relationship with Ananya Panday and his comments in various interviews.
During a recent interview, Aditya revealed a piece of trivia about his first acting job, which happened to be with his Fitoor co-star Katrina Kaif.
It was not for the movie Fitoor, but for a TV commercial for the cosmetic brand Lakme.Aditya revealed that he was one of the ten guys who waited for Katrina on set for an entire day.He added that her call time was different and she was not late.Aditya fondly recalled the memory of his first stint with Katrina, and a video of the commercial was found.
Aditya had Afro curls back then, and it appeared that he played two different roles in the commercial, much like in his latest film, Gumraah.
As said earlier Aditya Roy Kapur, the actor who recently starred in the successful Disney Plus Hotstar show The Night Manager, is now promoting his upcoming movie Gumraah, which is set for a theatrical release on April 7.Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with a Bollywood news media, Aditya spoke about the challenges he faced while playing two different characters in the movie.
Aditya revealed that the biggest challenge in playing the two roles was creating a distinction between the characters.He said that they had to rely on clothing, hairstyle, and behavior to differentiate the two.He also mentioned the difficulty of flipping between the two characters on the same day and maintaining a clear difference between them.
When asked about his experience working with co-stars Ronit Roy and Mrunal Thakur, Aditya had high praise for both actors.He described Ronit Roy’s presence on screen as weighty and said that he had a great time on set with him.He also complimented Mrunal Thakur’s talent, having seen some of her previous work and describing her as lovely.
