Chandigarh 12 Sep : A drone belonging to Pakistan was seen close to the border between Punjab and India near Gurdaspur on Monday morning, officials said.The drone flew back to Pakistan after Border Security Force (BSF) troops fired numerous rounds at it.
A search was conducted jointly by the BSF and Punjab Police.of the BSF and Punjab Police.
The day before, Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav told the media that 95 percent of the RDX is passing through Punjab frontiers mostly using drones.
According to the police records, more than one hundred and fifty drones flying that ranged from Pakistan towards Punjab were recorded this year, which is higher than last year’s.
However the BSF has neutralized many drones, Yadav added.
