Chennai 10th September : Actress Amala Akkineni who’s performance in her recently released film, a bilingual “Kanam” has been in for praise from all over the world she said that she created sweets for the entire group despite having not cooked for some time.In response to a question about rumours that she had prepared sweets for the entire cast of “Kanam,” Amala spoke with laughter: “Yes.In the film, I play the character of mother, and at one point I was asked “Ma, would you like to cook for us I was unsure how to respond.”
“How do I inform my children that I’m not sure how cook? So I made it a point to do it completely.However, it’s not so easily when you don’t cook regularly.
“The entire crew returned back to their homes and devoured the entire thing.
Poor thing all consumed the food in silence.But I’m not sure if it tasted really good.You only have to inquire.”
The actress who has ruled the Tamil film industry with her stunning performances prior to getting married to Telugu actor Nagarjuna and ending her life in Hyderabad and stated that her script in Tamil for the movie astonished director Shree Karthick.
She stated: “I can speak Tamil well when presented as dialog.However, when I talk normally I’m thinking in English and then translate word for word into Tamil.This can be slow.Because Telugu is my primary language I mix it with Telugu words as well.However, while I was dubbing, Shree Karthick was surprised.Because I’ll speak in Tamil first, and it will be accurate.It was much easier to speak Tamil than Telugu.”
