Hyderabad 9 Sep : Tensions were high during the Ganesh procession held at MJ Market here on Friday when a member of TRS was confronted by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on the dais and attempted to snuff out the microphone.The leader of Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti (BGUS) was speaking to the crowd when an official from the local region of TRS was seen stepping up to the podium and fought Sarma with a rebuttal to the remarks he said earlier.
He attempted to take away the microphone.BGUS leaders grabbed the hold of the TRS leader and escorted him away.
The incident caused tension in the area, which was filled with fans who were taking part in the traditional procession.Police intervened to arrest TRS chief Nand Kishore under arrest.They transferred him to the police station.
The Assam chief minister, in his speech, critiqued the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao and claimed that one family was content in Telangana.
Prior to that, he visited Bhagyalaxmi temple in Charminar and performed prayers.
He was planning to address the crowd there but the police resisted him due to the fact that there isn’t any permission to speak.
