Noida 9 Sep : As as many as 17 students as well as two teachers from an educational institution in Dankaur region of Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar suddenly fell sick on Thursday.Each of patients were taken to the Dankaur Primary Health Centre as their health declined.
The Swami Vivekananda Vidyapeeth Director of the school claimed that, due to the absence of hygiene in the adjacent cowshed, a sour smell was emanating from the school.In the end, 19 students have been sick.
The school is situated close to Shri Drona gaushala in Dankaur town.
All 19 victims were taken to the hospital where the first aid was administered to them and then they were taken home.
However due to their declining health the two female teachers were admitted to the GIMS hospital in Greater Noida.
The director of the school claimed that the school was filthy and full of filth and has a foul smell.
There have been complaints to the school committee several times in this regard , but there hasn’t been any action taken yet.
In contrast, Rajnikant Agarwal, Manager of the Gaushala Committee, says that lumpy skin disease has been being spread in cows in the past few days and the spray of a medicine has been applied.
“The smell persists for a few minutes around the school.Particular attention is given to the hygiene of the gaushala.
The school’s director should examine the reasons why the children and teachers were sick,” Agarwal added.
