San Francisco, Sep 8 : After announcing the next-generation Apple Watches, the tech giant has now pulled the Series 3 from its online store.In the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022, Apple confirmed that the Apple Watch Series 3 would not be compatible with watchOS 9 and , now it’s officially announced that the Apple Series 3 was removed from the online store according to The Verge.
The report noted that smartwatch hardware typically begins to struggle after around three years.The Series 3 first launched five years ago in the year 2017.
At the time it was the first Apple Watch to support LTE connectivity.This was a major achievement at a time where only a handful of smartwatches had the capability of calling directly from wrist.
A recent report also stated that the watchOS 9 software update is not compatible with Apple Watch Series 3.Apple Watch Series 3.
In addition, the recently unveiled Apple Watch Series 8 and the brand new Apple Watch SE will start at Rs 45,900 or Rs 29,900, respectively in India.
powered by watchOS 9, Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE are available to order today, with availability beginning September 16.
Apple Watch Series 8 features a large, constantly-on retina display as well as a sturdy front crystal that is resistant to cracks.
