New Delhi, Sep 7 : Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has stated that Hindi films were being unfairly treated due to the fact of the current spate of box-office failures.This includes “Shamshera”.In a media event for the movie ‘Brahmastra on Wednesday he stated: “If an action doesn’t work, it’s because the content hasn’t been effective.”
In reference to ‘Shamshera’ Ranbir stated: “I will give my personal examples and will not refer to other films.I was a part of a film’s release just a few weeks ago.I didn’t notice any negatives.The film didn’t do well at the box office due to most likely, the audience didn’t enjoy the film.It’s ultimately focused on the story.”
He said: “If you give a excellent film and a good quality contents .If people are entertained, of course they’d be inclined to visit the cinemas .feel different emotions, feel inspired by the actors, feel various emotions, be entertained, and have a great laugh or weep.”
“Brahmastra” is a trilogie of the Ayan Mukerji’s “Astraverse”.The first part called ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’, is scheduled for release on the 9th of September.The cast is a group with names like Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
