Mumbai 7th September : Singer Dhvani Bhanushali debuted her new single ‘Ek Taffa’ on Wednesday.In the ballad about love penned by Gaurav Chatterji with lyrics written by Sandeep Gaur the singer demonstrates fragility and gentleness with her singing.The track that tells the tale of an unrequited romance, includes an enticing flute section that has a resemblance to that of “Aaoge Tum” from “Jab We Met”.
In a statement about the song, Dhvani stated in the following statement: “‘Ek Tarfa’ is quite different from the type of songs I’ve performed before.I needed to dig deep to bring the vulnerability and sadness to the lyrics and my performances in the music video.”Ek Tarfa” is a very special song and we’ve made it very much of love and I’m hoping my fans show the song all their love.”
Composer Gaurav Chatterji wanted to infuse the emotion of sadness in the tune’s mood as well as emotions.So we created a simple tune that could be a reflection of the sadness.
Gaurav added: “We kept the melody for this song really simple, but melancholic.”Ek Tarfa” is a beautiful ballad and Sandeep’s lyrics paired with Dhvani’s voice make an impact with its simplicity.”
“Ek Tarfa,” performed by Vinod Bhanushali, is now available for streaming on Hitz Music.
