New Delhi, Sep 2 : Samsung received a record number of pre-bookings for its new Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 foldable smartphones in India Samsung revealed on Friday.The company claimed that in India the fourth-generation foldables broke the previous year’s record for preorders and show a strong interest in the new gadgets.
With the pre-booking period completed, consumers in India can purchase the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 through Samsung.com and at all major retailers, both offline and online.
“Every year, our newest foldables surpass the previous generation and the pre-book results for the fourth generation suggest that we will see a massive demand in the near the future.” stated Raju Pullan Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India.
“As the market leader in this area we can’t wait for our customers to receive their phones now and be able to experience the latest advancements and improvements for the Galaxy Z series,” Raju Pullan said.
To support Fold4 as well as Flip4, Samsung has expanded its retail network, bringing the top-of-the-line phones to more than 10,000 cities including towns in tier 2, and further.
It is available in Bora Purple, Graphite and Pink Gold colors, Galaxy Z Flip4 is priced at Rs 89,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, and Rs 94999 for the variant with 8GB+256GB.
Bespoke Edition, which comes with frames and glass colours is available through Samsung Live and Samsung Exclusive Stores for Rs 97999.
It is available in Graygreen, Beige and Phantom Black colours, Galaxy Z Fold4 is priced at Rs 154,999, for a 12GB+256GB variant, and Rs 164,999 for 12GB+512GB variant.
Consumers can purchase 12GB+1TB only on Samsung Live and Samsung exclusive stores for a price of Rs 184,999, according to the company.
Customers who purchase Galaxy Z Fold4 will get Galaxy Watch4 Classic 46mm BT worth Rs 34,999 for only 2999 rupees.
Additionally, customers can earn cashback of Rs 8,000 using HDFC debit or credit cards, or avail an the upgrade bonus of up to Rs 8,000.
The customers who buy Galaxy Z Flip4 will get Galaxy Watch4 Classic 42mm BT worth Rs 31,999 for just Rs 2,999, as per the company.
Samsung was the top smartphone in the market with 22 percent market share in the initial six months of the year.
