Amaravati Sep 1, : Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday stated that the interests of the state are always at the heart of his party’s strategy for political action.He said to journalists that the TDP is a party that views national politics solely from the perspective of the point of view of the interests of the state.
The TDP chief however, was unable to comment on speculation suggesting that the TDP is likely to rejoin the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
He said that those who are making the speculations must be able to answer the question.
Naidu said that the TDP was formed out of NDA to protect the interests of the state.
He believed that the party had suffered losses twice due to a greater attention to governance.Former Chief Minister also said he was also personally hurt because of his desire to do good for the state.
Naidu The TDP, which lost the power in the elections of 2019 said that despite the bifurcation blow and the revenue deficit the TDP government had implemented welfare programs.
He remembered that it was TDP who had enacted welfare measures.
He stated that if they were elected to power again the party would increase the welfare programs.
The TDP leader has said that people who are ignorant are blaming him for welfare programs.
He was critical of the Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government for he said was destroying the institutions.He declared that there is an atmosphere of inability with no one in the position to to stop the devastation of institutions.
Naidu claimed that Andhra Pradesh suffered more losses because of Jagan’s mismanagement than the losses caused by bifurcation.
