Abu Dhabi, Sep 1 : External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar arrived in Abu Dhabi for a three-day visit on Wednesday.He will co-chair the 14th India-UAE Joint Committee Meeting as well as the third India-UAE Strategic Dialogue with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE.
When he arrived in Abu Dhabi on Ganesh Chaturthi, Jaishankar visited the under-construction BAPS Hindu Mandir and laid the foundation stone in its intricate structure.

“On Ganesh Chaturthi, blessed to have the privilege of visiting the @BAPS Hindu temple currently under construction in Abu Dhabi.We are thrilled to see the speed of progress and admiring the dedication of everyone involved.I met with the BAPS team, as well as community members and devotees, as well as workers at the site.” Jaishankar tweeted.

Jaishankar also met with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.Sharing pictures of the visit, Jaishanker said in a tweet: “Delighted to meet HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.I am grateful for his support of the Indian community as well as our yoga classes as well as cricket and cultural cooperation.”

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi tweeted: “Closer than ever! In a second tweet, the Embassy stated: “Auspicious beginning to the visit of EAM @DrSJaishankar.EAM went to the BAPS AbuDhabiMandir site and laid the foundation of a brick in the intricate structure.Also , he praised the efforts of everyone Indians in building the famous Temple which is an emblem of peace and harmony.”
