Mumbai 29 Aug : The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is in full swingand the corner, ‘Bhagya Lakshmi actor Aishwarya Khare is missing celebrating the festival in her home town, Bhopal.She discusses the tradition of carrying the Ganesh idol to the home of her family for over 15 years, and the way she was able to enjoy Ganesh Chaturthi with her family in her ancestral home.Aishwarya stated: “Ganesh Chaturthi is one of my most cherished celebrations of the past.In fact, I’ve been able to recall a number of experiences of this festival from the time I was a young child.I can still recall, I was in school and I insisted on taking Bappa home for Ganesh Chaturthi and since then it has become a custom in our family home in Bhopal.”
She also shared more details on her plans the year ahead she said: “I think it has been more than 15 years since we’ve been following this tradition .I’m going to be missing the celebrations at home this year since I’m not traveling to Bhopal when my parents receive Bappa.”
Khare will be traveling to different pandals (a temporary structure in which people gather for a religious reason).”Having stated that, I’m planning to visit various pandals and as well as a few of friends during Ganesh Chaturthi to receive Ganesha’s blessings, as well and to eat the delicious modak,”” she concludes.
