Islamabad 28 August : The number of deaths in separate incidents that were caused by rainstorms throughout Pakistan has risen to 1,000 since the beginning of monsoon season in June 14 the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) announced on Saturday night.The authority stated that 1,527 people also wounded in separate incidents, while 949,858 homes were destroyed or completely destroyed in the disaster, leaving millions of homeless in the country that has been suffering the severe effects of climate changes for the past few years.
The killed included 348 children as well as 207 women.

Muhammad Saleem, 65, an occupant of one of the villages in Shaheed Benazirabad district of Sindh stated that he has never experienced such a massive downpour in the entire country in the entire time of his existence.
“It it rained for a straight 72 hours with no interruption, and 70 percent of the houses in the village were destroyed.The remaining are in poor condition.In addition but all our crops have been swept away, and not one strand remains in the fields,” Saleem told Xinhua.
He stated that the future is also uncertain for the majority of the residents of the province since both their homes and their the crops are destroyed.It will be difficult to pay for the necessities in the days ahead with no food or shelter.
In a recent interview with the media, the Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman said that her country is experiencing “a natural disaster caused by climate change” with unprecedented rains and flooding.
Pakistan has been blessed with an average of 166 millimeters of rainfall in August that’s 241 percent higher than the average, the minister stated and added that the southern part of the country were able to receive 784 percent more rain than the average.
“Almost 30 million are living without shelter, and thousands of people are displaced and are without food.” she said.
Premier Minister Shahbaz Sharif asked the public to help financially flood victims by donating to his relief fund for flood victims.He called on all nations to assist the country deal with the damage and to help the flood victims.
In a visit to a region affected by flooding of Sindh on the weekend, Shahbaz informed the public that the government had given 38 billion Pakistani rupees (about 171.6 million U.S.dollars) to help flood victims.25000 rupees (about 112.9 U.S.dollars) in cash will also be distributed to each family to help meet their basic necessities for survival.
