Chennai 27 Aug : Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be the lead role in director Nanda Kishore’s upcoming epic “Vrushabha,” a movie that will be shot in Malayalam and Telugu and then dubbed in various other languages, including Tamil as well as Kannada.The film will be developed by AVS Studios, founded by former Netflix executive Abhishek Vyas.
The film is planned in the form of one of the six films AVS plans to create across genres and languages in the first phase of its development.
Sources suggest that the movie, which is expected to be full of emotion and drama, will revolve around the struggle between two different emotions that run the world : love and vengeance.
It’s a high-octane father-son comedy, with megastar Mohanlal essaying the role of the father.A huge Telugu actor is likely to play the role of the son.The actor who plays the role of the son will be announced in the near future.
Mohanlal stated: “The moment I heard the script I was captivated by the concept of “Vrushabha’.It’s a thrilling father-son high-energy drama that has a wide range of characters across different lives.I am awestruck with Nanda Kishore’s vision, and thrilled to work with AVS Studios for the first time on a film.”
Nanda Kishore who is the director of the film declares: “At the heart of every great film are characters that make a connection with you and remain with you for many years after watching the film.I’ve been writing “Vrushabha” for the past five years.It’s an opportunity to collaborate with Mohanlal sir.I am thrilled to bring the film to the streets.”

“Vrushabha” is an AVS Studios Production in collaboration with Shyam Sunder’s First Step Movies.Written by Nanda Kishore, and produced by Abhishek Vyas, Praveer Singh and Shyam Sunder The film is set to hit the floors in May 2023, and is scheduled to release in the early 2024 in more than 3,000 cinemas across the globe.
