New Delhi, Aug 26 : A Delhi-based lawyer on Friday filed a complaint for an CBI investigation into Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s claim that BJP is attempting to lure AAP MLAs by offering 800 crore.In a letter to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director Subodh Jaiswal, Adv Vineet Jindal said that a few of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs also stated in the media that they have the evidence to support their claims of an attempt to purchase MLAs from the BJP but they didn’t share any information.
“This is not the only time that such accusations have been made about the BJP more than once similar accusations were put forward in the same context of the BJP party, which is being blamed by Arvind Kejriwal of trying to of buying AAP MLAs” Jindal stated.
Today, using the notion of the dissolution of the political parties to attack the opposition and gain political traction over other parties by presenting an inaccurate, negative image and making a false representation of opposition figures is a common practice.
While democracy is a form of government of the people that is for the people and for the people, it is a sad situation of things that political parties resort to false accusations to discredit other parties.The voters are vulnerable to the opinions of the political leaders who make statements that are based in their own interests.
This leaves voters uncertain and confused about the decision of their representatives.
It is essential that people who vote must be aware of the truth, and whether assertions are true or not must be investigated in order to reveal the truth to the general public, so that voters aren’t be deceived by claims made by politicians.
These allegations are extremely serious in the sense that they must be investigated to discover the truth to the accusations that were made by Arvind Kejriwal in his attack on BJP, he urged.
“Being an activist in the social sphere and a voter of Delhi I ask you to investigate the current situation to ensure the rights of every voter and give the voters with the opportunity to be informed of the facts regarding the claims of the political party” he requested in the letter.
