Panaji 25 Aug : Goa Police on Thursday announced that BJP head Sonali Phogat’s corpse was found to have’multiple sharp force injuries’ according to the postmortem report.an investigation into the murder has been recorded.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police Jivba Dalvi Jivba Dalvi, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, has told IANS that there are a variety of blunt force injuries to the body.”We have filed the matter against her personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan as well as his friend Sukhwinder Wasi,”” Dalvi said.
The autopsy was performed on Thursday.
The case was filed on Thursday in response to an appeal from Rinku Dhaka, the brother of Sonali Phogat.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, on Thursday, said that DGP was given full decision-making freedom in this particular case.
“There is complete freedom for the police department make the correct decision,” he said after the case was recorded.
Sawant on Wednesday stated that the Goa police is examining the murder of Haryana BJP chief and actress Sonali Phogat, however, according to preliminary investigations it appears that the that the cause of death was cardiac arrest.
According to Goa police Sonali Phogat had a feeling of unease at night on Monday and the next day in the morning (on Tuesday), she was taken to St.Anthony hospital in Anjuna about 8 a.m.The hospital was where she was declared to death.
She was in Goa on the 22nd of August and was staying in an hotel in Anjuna.
