Maharani 2 25 August (SonyLIV)

The first show to appear on the OTT platform is the second season of the Huma Qureshi-starring political drama “Maharani”.

The multi-season drama is the story of a fictional character that is influenced by the political turmoil in Bihar in the early 1990s, when then Chief Minister Lalu Prasad made his homemaker wife Rabri Devi his successor.

The second season of the show, which will see Huma playing the main role of Rani Bharti, will show Bheema Bharti (played by Sohum Shah) coming out of prison, and battling with his wife Rani in the pursuit of power.

Criminal Justice 3: August 26 (Disney+ Hotstar)

“Criminal justice” is one of the most adored Indian series in the OTT space.The upcoming season will feature Pankaj Tripathi reprising his role as advocate Madhav Mishra, who is facing the most difficult trial of his profession.

He will be fighting in the courtroom with the assistant public prosecutor Lekha who is who is played by Shweta Basu Prasad.

Delhi Crime 2: August 26 (Netflix)

The third item in the series is the second season of the widely-loved police drama “Delhi Crime”.The debut season of the Richie Mehta-directed show focused on the aftermath of the 2012 Delhi Gang-Raped incident that shaken the morality of the nation, and led the Parliament to adopt the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 2013, (Nirbhaya Act) which strengthened the provisions of the Indian Penal Code, Indian Evidence Act as well as the Code of Criminal Procedure with regards to sexual offenses.

The initial season of the show won the Emmy Award for Best Drama Series.

The show, said to be based on the hit series on the international circuit “The Real Housewives,” is based on the professional and personal life of Neelam Kothari Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey and Seema Khan wives of Bollywood actors Samir Soni, Sanjay Kapoor, Chunky Panday and Sohail Khan, respectively.

Lord Of The Rings: Rings Of Power – September 2 (Prime Video)

The final program on the top of the list is the adaptation of the series of the cult trilogy ‘Lord of the Rings’.It’s called ‘Lord Of the Rings: Rings of Power The series brings to life the mythical tales of the mythical Second Age of Middle-Earth’s history.

The epic epic unfolds thousands of years prior to the events of J.R.R.Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings’ novels and promises to take viewers back to the past in where kingdoms were ablaze with glory and then fell into ruin with unlikely heroes being challenged.

House of Dragon: August 29 – Disney+ Hotstar

The prequel to “Game of Thrones’, the blockbuster television series inspired by George R.R.Martin’s novel, will air its second installment on the 29th of August.”House of Dragon’ takes place 200 years prior to the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of the House Targaryen – the clan of Valyrian descent that once was the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.The premiere episode of the series brought in 9.99 million viewers following its premiere on HBO as well as HBO Max in North America and Europe.
