Girilal who was station house officer in the Vattapara police station in the suburbs of the capital city following the incident, was given his marching orders and has been placed in the department of vigilance.

The viral audio in Malayalam starts with the phone call being made from the office of Anil.

After his staff confirms that the official from the police is at the other side the phone is transferred to the minister.

After greetings as usual, Anil says he is calling because a woman in his district (Nedumangadu in the capital district) approached him with an issue with her husband.

When Anil states that, the inspector states that he is aware of the situation and he will do a fair and fair job.

This comment of the officer appears to have annoyed Anil.

Soon , Anil’s voice gets stiffer, however, Girilal continues to insist that he will do a good job, which angers Anil to the point of causing more.

Anil is later reported to have said that the answer should have been to round his husband up.

In response, the officer says, “How is it possible to say this and I do nobody will be there to defend me.”

“I will only do an honest job, no matter anyone who comes to me.I am the only one who is honest in my work and doesn’t collect any money from anyone,” said the inspector.

This is further irritated Anil.

The inspector continues to say that the minister shouldn’t act like this, since he always conducts his work in the right way.

“Just as you tap me, I am also tapping this call.I am not in a position to do what you’ve said.I will do what the law requires,” says Girilal.

With the special Assembly session now in full swing the agenda, the Congress-led opposition is likely to take advantage of this forum to attack the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his cabinet.
