Chennai 21 Aug : A member of the IT wing of Tamil Nadu’s ruling DMK in Dindigul district was detained on Sunday after making derogatory remarks about Hindu gods, police said.The man arrested was identified as Lokesh Karthick.
The BJP’s Dindigul district IT cell president K.Bommu Subbaiya had complained to the police that Karthick had posted derogatory remarks about Hindu gods, particularly Lord Krishna in the Janmashtami festival.
Dindigul town police from the north said that a case was filed against Karthick and an investigation is underway.
