New Delhi, Aug 21 : India reported 11,539 fresh Covid cases in the past 24 hours, a small decline from the previous total of 13,272 cases, according to the Union Health Ministry.In the same time frame the country reported 43 additional Covid deaths, bringing the death toll up to 5,27,332.
In the meantime, the active caseload has dropped to 99,879 cases, which accounts for 0.23 percent of the all positive cases.
The recuperation of 12783 patients in the last 24 hours brought the total number to 4,37,1218.Thus, India’s rate of recovery is 98.59 percent.
