New Delhi, Aug 16 : Officials in the Department of Food and Public Distribution declared on Tuesday that they had received overwhelming responses to technical bids of Design, Build, Fund, Own & Operate (DBFOT) tender to design and build the capacity of 111.125 LMT of Hub and Spoke silos at 249 sites across the nation.The sum of 38 bids were received on four bundles encompassing 14 sites in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.The total of 15 potential bidders have expressed interest and submitted bids.
The technical evaluation is expected be completed in three to four weeks.
