San Francisco, Aug 16 : Meta (formely Facebook) on Tuesday announced plans to increase the scope of its Horizon Worlds metaverse experience to more countries in Europe for those who are 18 or over in France as well as Spain.Meta CEO and Founder Mark Zuckerberg said that he is looking forward to “seeing people discover and create virtual worlds that are immersive, and bring this to other countries in the near future”.
“We believe that everyone should be in control of the experience they have in Horizon Worlds, so we’re constantly working to develop more tools and features to let users create their own user experience” Meta said in an article on the blog.
To begin with, the Conduct in VR Policy and Horizon Worlds Prohibited Content Policy defines what is and isn’t allowed in the Horizon Worlds platform.
If you’re annoyed by someone and you are not sure what to do, there are several options.From the menu on your wrist you can tap the shield icon to open Safe Zone, which allows you to get away from your environment and block or mute or report anyone who is engaging in inappropriate behavior.
“All new Horizon Worlds users go through an onboarding procedure that explains how to utilize Safe Zone.In addition, anyone who violates our rules could be subject to account restrictions or suspended or even disabled in accordance with the particulars of the situation,” said the company.
Recently, Meta announced a new setting called Voice Mode in Horizon Worlds that lets users have greater control over the experience.
To enhance its usability, technology giant Meta has also come up with an entirely new rating system for content designed for “mature viewers”.
