New Delhi, Aug 16 : The number of exploits for weaknesses in the Microsoft Office suite increased, accounting for 82 percent of the number of exploits across various platforms and software including Adobe Flash, Android, Java and more in the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the report stated on Tuesday.
According to a report from Kaspersky the old versions of applications remain the most frequent target for attackers, with almost 547,000 users in total being affected by the same security holes in the past quarter.

Additionally the amount of people affected by the Microsoft MSHTML Remote Code Execution vulnerability, previously identified in specific attacks increased eight times.
