New Delhi, Aug 12 : In the midst of speculation over a changes of guard in the state, the BJP’s Karnataka general secretary and in-charge Arun Singh has on Friday announced that the party will be contesting the next assembly elections under the direction of the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.Singh accused the Congress for causing confusion by bringing up “non issues” like the change of guard.
“We will create the government in Karnataka next year. It’s not a change of guard, and the entire issue was conceived by D.K.Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah because they do not have a problem.Congress is an unleader-less party. They don’t have a plan against the BJP.therefore, they try to create issues that they claim they can claim that the CM will be replaced. The truth isn’t in the idea.”

“I have told that you.that we’ll be contesting at the next election under the direction of the chief minister Bommai. He is doing a great job for farmers, youth and for STs, SCs and other minorities. We will return with an overwhelming majority. We have set a goal of 150 seats, and we will meet this,” he said.
In a speech at Congress, Singh said: “Congress is an unison house and they aren’t on the same page. They are causing confusion.Congress is a political party that believes in “tape” and “conspiracy’ in Karnataka.”
