Mumbai 12 Aug : Veteran Bollywood actress Asha Parekh claimed that ‘Superstar singer 2 contestant Mani is Dharmendra’s clone particularly because of his playful eyes.She even asked him to sing a song from the 1969’s film ‘Aya Swayan Jhoom Ke’ starring Asha Parekh, and Dharmendra.
Asha stated: “You sing so well and you’re beautiful too.You appear a bit like Dharmendra Ji, due to the fact that in your eyes, I am able to observe the shararat (mischief) similar to what Dharmendra Ji has in his eyes.So , I’d like to request that you perform one of his songs i.e “Saathiya Nai Jaana’.”
As part of the special episode, all contestants sang some of the most famous tracks from her films.she said to the panel of judges Alka Yagnik as well as Himesh Reshammiya it would be difficult for them to pick the winner from the contestants since everyone of them are extremely talented.
“I must say that it is going to be a challenge for Himesh Ji and Alka Ji to pick one of all these talented youngsters,” she added.
