New Delhi, Aug 11 : Tesla CEO Elon Musk has teased the launching of the new social media site called X.com amid the ongoing legal dispute with Twitter.
X.com was the domain name of a company Musk created a few years ago that he later joined with the financial services company PayPal.

When asked if he thought of launching his own social network if the Twitter deal isn’t a success, Musk replied: “X.com.”

After selling its shares of the electric vehicle company that were worth more than $7 billion, SpaceX and Tesla CEO said Tesla as well as SpaceX CEO announced he would buy back Tesla shares in the event that the Twitter deal does not conclude.

When an individual on microblogging platforms to confirm if he has stopped selling Tesla shares the tech billionaire responded positively.

“Yes.

If in the (hopefully unlikely) scenario that Twitter makes this deal close, and if certain equity partners do not succeed, it is essential to stay clear of an emergency sale of Tesla shares,” Musk wrote on Twitter.

Musk was also responding to a user who inquired “If the Twitter deal is not concluded do you want to buy Tesla stock?” Musk replied, “Yes.”

According to a report, Musk has sold 7.92 million shares of company stock that were worth $6.88 billion.

Musk’s transactions took place between August 5 through August 9, US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) documents revealed after Tesla’s 2022 annual shareholder gathering on August 4.in Austin, Texas.
