Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi said that naming Vijayawada district as NTR was a bold decision taken by Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy.As NTR fans themselves, the leaders in the TDP said the activists were very happy.
Chandrababu at least did not mince words on the issue of districts.Chandrababu, who has been the chief minister for 14 years, was criticized for not trying to name a single district NTR.The names of the districts are flagged as being politicized by the TDP as a social media platform.
Vamsi lauded YS Jaganmohan Reddy for keeping the promise given by the then Leader of the Opposition during the Padayatra when he became the Chief Minister.
Jagan recalled that the matter was mentioned at Chandrababu on the same day as promised in the Padayatra.However, Chandrababu mentioned that he argued with them that you do not know politics, YSSRCP will not come to power and I know what to do.Now the TDP is trying to politicize the issue of 26 districts.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi lamented that the issue of increasing the number of districts was being misrepresented as a social media platform.
He also criticized the Telugu Desam Party for giving money and posting on social media, saying that NTR was not a person confined to one area.He was outraged that the TDP was spreading bogus propaganda about the names of districts in most parts of the state.
